⚠️SCHEDULED STREET WORK ⚠️
The following street work is scheduled to begin soon:
1️⃣ Veterans Drive
Recently the City of Waterloo approved funding to improve Veterans Drive from North Library to Grand Avenue. The improvements will consist of cleaning out storm ditches, installing new driveway culverts, and asphalt overlaying on Veterans Drive. Weather permitting, the work is scheduled to begin Monday, July 11th and could take up to six weeks to complete.
There could, at times, be lengthy delays while on Veterans Drive. Also, we ask residents not to park vehicles on the street during construction.
2️⃣ North Library
Beginning Monday, July 11th (weather permitting), the City of Waterloo is going to begin a project that will include milling the existing roadway surface and replacing it with an asphalt overlay in accordance with the attached map. There could, at times, be lengthy delays while driving on N. Library Street. Again, weather permitting, this project should take approximately two (2) weeks to complete. We ask that all residents please do not park vehicles on N. Library Street during this time. Weekends will be okay to park on the streets.
