Planning Commission
The purpose of the Planning Commission is to prepare and recommend a comprehensive plan for the development of the City to the City Council. The Planning Commission also makes recommendations to the Zoning Board of Appeals on special use permits and to the City Council on ordinances, code amendments, plans, and data relative to public improvements. The seven members serve three-year staggered terms.
The Planning Commission normally meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 100 West Fourth Street.
