Zoning Board of Appeals
The purpose of the Zoning Board of Appeals is to grant special use permits and area-bulk variances where warranted, and to decide any appeal involving the interpretation of the Zoning Code by any administrative officials. The Zoning Board of Appeals also makes recommendations to the City Council on ordinances and Zoning Code amendments. The seven member board serves five-year staggered terms.
The Zoning Board of Appeals normally meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 100 West Fourth Street.
