In 2022, the City of Waterloo joined the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration as a Commemorative Partner. As a partner, we promise to assist the nation in thanking and honoring our veterans and the nine million families that served during the Vietnam War Era. March 29th is designated as National Vietnam War Veterans Day. A special program will be held at the Veterans Memorial at Lakeview Park on March 29 at 11 a.m. Please bring a lawn chair and join us to recognize our local Vietnam Veterans!
